Q: Welcome! Can you introduce yourself to our readers?

A: I am Hadley! I am from Marietta, GA and I have lived in Nashville since I was 18.

Q: How would you describe your sound to someone who’s not heard your music before?

A: I would say soulful and southern. I started with blues and mixed country with that. I’d like to describe it as a more soulful country genre. (If that’s a thing, if not we are making it one lol)

Q: You recently released your new single, can you tell us what the song is about?

A: The song is called Trust Issues. I presented the song and immediately related to it. I loved it. It is about trusting someone you think you can, and it backfires. I unfortunately have found that true of more people id like to admit.

Q: When did you realize that you wanted to become a musician?

A: Of course growing up, I was always singing. I had the echo plastic microphones. I sang all the time the second I could talk. But, when I was about 13 I started to take it seriously. My stepdad asked if I wanted to become a musician and become serious about it. He said he could hear me singing in my room all the time lol. I didn’t even know what to say because I had never thought about it being a possible career. But he supported me from that moment on and has never stopped.

Q: What inspires you the most to write your songs?

A: My parents are number one. They have done nothing but continuously support me and I want nothing more than to prove everything has been worth it. Second, all of my followers. Everyone that has been there to support me, helped me out and followed me around to my shows. I want to touch people and I want people to know they’re not alone. Songs help connect people and also help reassure some people, they’re not the only ones going through whatever it is.

Q: Who would be your ultimate dream collaboration with, and why?

A: Ashley McBride for sure. I love her sound and I love how she carries herself. She seems like one of the most genuine people and upfront people. I have followed her music since day one and still do. I got lucky to cut one of her songs and that alone was a dream come true.

Q: If there’s one song from your catalog that you wish everyone in the world could listen to, which one would it be?

A: Picking one is hard. I would say Missed Your call or Good Guys if we are talking about my most personal songs. I resonate with those two insanely close.

Q: What do you have planned for the year ahead?

A: I plan on getting out on the road playing shows more, writing and releasing more music, and growing my fan base!
